![]() I few weeks I will pass my NCLEX write formal request for investigation and close this page of my life. #Ipass ashland professionalI had to see professional doctor to get medications to overcome this bad memories. I had to deal with PTSD for about 2 years. I was disrespected and humiliated multiple times by my clinical instructor. I plan to write formal complaint to BON in OHIO when I pass my nclex.I am not really looking for opinions I just want somebody to have good school experience, nursing school is hard but NO ONE should be abused. I learn there how is this like to be abused. #Ipass ashland skinThey HATE people who is different, so my friend with black skin had to take all exams 2 times (during entire 1st semester), because faculty did not believe that she pass exams on her own. "professors" told me in my face "YOU SHOULD NOT BE A NURSE" really? I NEVER asked for "professional " opinion. If you decide to attend this school be prepared to kiss everyone's butt, and if you speck up about abuse they will charge tuitions and kick you out of the program. I used to be student there, so I know all insight. I just want to warn people not to go to Ashland University - nursing program in Mansfield. iParent (AHS/AMS only) - Progress reports and report cards for Middle and High School students are online. ![]() I do not want to share details because it may reveal who I am to them, but trust me, they will snap at you and even yell if they hear something they don't like (as opposed to pulling you aside and having a respectable conversation). They can act very passive aggressive and immature (almost two faced I would say). I do not think that many of the staff members exemplify the iCARE values they speak so much about. I am overall a fan of the school, but I think these are things to be aware of when applying. I have heard my professors say they would never get COVID tested because they would not want to have to miss out of classes for two weeks (as a student with health problems that put me at severe risk if infected with COVID I was appalled.) I think the work is reasonable and they are lenient with grading exams which is awesome. I don't believe it is a coincidence that every person who has failed a class has been a minority (despite them being very very intelligent and personable people). ![]() They also are absolutely harder on students with accents or different colored skin (I am a white femail, but I have heard absurd stories from classmates where they were almost failed for not doing something that was NEVER taught to us). They also gossip a lot and are very judgmental. These women are saints), but they can be VERY power trippy. The staff is nice (Especially Tracy Crum, Katy, and Patti. If you are attending the ABSN program which I am in the school will claim that you are not eligible for scholarships/financial aid (Which is a flat out lie because I got offered 20 thousand dollars worth of scholarships at a different ABSN program. You get ONE opportunity to stick a fake arm and then you aren't allowed another chance. #Ipass ashland how toJust be aware: In lab if you hope to practice and learn how to start an IV- you will not be taught. ![]()
